Vivo V50 Lite 5G arrives with Dimensity 6300, 8MP ultrawide, more

Vivo finally unveiled another model we were expecting from it — the Vivo V50 Lite 5G.

To recall, the brand introduced the 4G variant of the phone days earlier. Now, we get to see the 5G version of the model, which features some differences from its siblings. It starts with a better chip that enables its 5G connectivity. While the V50 Lite 4G has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685, the V50 Lite 5G houses the Dimensity 6300 chip.

The 5G smartphone also features a slight improvement in its camera department. Like its 4G sibling, it has a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera. Nonetheless, it now features an 8MP ultrawide sensor instead of its sibling’s simpler 2MP sensor.

In other sections, though, we are basically looking at the same 4G phone Vivo introduced earlier.

The V50 Lite 5G comes in Titanium Gold, Phantom Black, Fantasy Purple, and Silk Green colorways. Configurations include 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB options.

Here are more details about the model:

  • MediaTek Dimensity 6300
  • 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB
  • 6.77″ 1080p+ 120Hz OLED with 1800nits peak brightness and under-screen optical fingerprint scanner
