Vivo V50e to launch in India next month with same V50 design

The Vivo V50e will sport the same look as its vanilla V50 sibling, and it is expected to arrive in India in April.

The model will join the Vivo V50 and Vivo V50 Lite, which are now available in the market. To recall, the former launched last month, while the Lite model debuted this week in Turkey. Both models sport a vertical pill-shaped camera island on the back, but the Vivo V50e will be more identical to the vanilla model (or the Vivo S20). Its island will house a circular module with two lens cutouts and a ring light below.

According to a report, the Vivo V50e is expected to be unveiled in India next month. The model carries the V2428 model number, and a leak revealed that it could have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. The said processor was spotted in a benchmark leak and was complemented by 8GB RAM and Android 15 in the test, all of which allowed it to gather 529, 1,316, and 2,632 in single precision, half-precision, and quantized tests, respectively.

Other details expected from the V50e include a 6.77″ curved 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED, a 50MP selfie camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 + 8MP ultrawide camera setup on the back, a 5600mAh battery, 90W charging support, an IP69 rating, and two color options (Sapphire Blue and Pearl White).

Stay tuned for updates!
