The Vivo Y28s recently visited the Geekbench platform, hinting at the brand’s preparation for its debut. Based on its earlier appearances and certifications, the model could be introduced in India and Thailand.
The model is one of Vivo‘s upcoming 5G devices. Although it has not been mentioned in recent reports, it seems Vivo is now in the final stages of preparation for the model’s launch.
Recently, the handheld appeared on Geekbench bearing the V2346 model number. As per the results, the Vivo Y28s registered 599 and 1,707 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
According to the listing, the handheld used an octa-core processor in the test, which comes with a Mali G57 G{U, k6835v2_64 motherboard, two performance cores (2.0GHz), and six efficiency cores (2.40GHz). Based on these descriptions, it is now speculated that the chip could either be a Dimensity 6300 or Dimensity 6080 SoC. Aside from those things, the device employed 8GB RAM and an Android 14 system in the benchmark.
The model has already appeared on India’s BIS and Thailand’s NBTC platforms, with the latter confirming its monicker and model number. Based on these appearances, the debut of the model could be just around the corner. Ultimately, as its monicker shows, it could have a huge similarity to the 5G variant of the Vivo Y28, which launched in February in India. To recall, the smartphone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020, up to 8GB RAM, 5,000mAh battery, 15W charging, and a 6.56” HD+ 90Hz screen.
