In order to bring top-tier photography to its mid-range smartphones, vivo and ZEISS once again made a partnership to create the camera system of its V30 Pro.
The global partnership between the two started in 2020 to create the joint R&D program “vivo ZEISS Imaging Lab.” This has allowed fans access to professional-grade camera technologies through the co-engineered advanced imaging system introduced first in the vivo X60 Series. While there were expectations that it would be limited to premium offerings, the company later also brought it to the V30 Pro, noting that it would introduce the vivo ZEISS co-engineered imaging system to all its flagship smartphones.
The model is the first one to receive the ZEISS imaging system in the company’s V-series. Through this, the V30 Pro will offer a ZEISS triple main camera capable of balanced color, contrast, sharpness, and depth. As the company notes, this should complement a wide variety of shots, including landscapes, portraits, and selfies. This will all be possible through the rear triple camera setup of the model, boasting 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto units.
V30 Pro, alongside its v30 sibling, is expected to make its debut in India next week on Thursday, March 7. According to the company, it will offer the V30 Pro in Andaman Blue, Peacock Green, and Classic Black color options, while the colors of the V30 remain unknown. Anticipating fans can avail of the models on Flipkart and vivo.com, with the microsite already being live.
