Xiaomi used E-SIM technology for the first time in the Redmi Note 10T Japan model. New phones with e-SIM technology were added in the new version of MIUI 13. With the new version of MIUI 13, two new devices with Xiaomi’s E-SIM technology were added in Mi Code. These two new devices will be introduced in the middle of this year.
As Xiaomi approaches the introduction of the 12 Lite model, critical information has come about the Xiaomi 12 Lite NE and Xiaomi 12T Pro. The content of this critical information is that these two devices will support E-SIM. Xiaomi 12 Lite NE and Xiaomi 12T Pro will have E-SIM support for the first time after the Redmi Note 10T Japan.
In this added line of code, two devices with the codename “ziyi” and “diting” were added to the devices with E-SIM support. Ziyi codename belongs to Xiaomi 12 Lite NE, while diting codename belongs to Xiaomi 12T Pro.
Xiaomi 12T Pro and Xiaomi 12 Lite NE are expected to be released on Q3 2022. Xiaomi 12T Pro will use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Xiaomi 12 Lite NE will use Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processors.
