The global launch date of the Xiaomi 12 series was tipped online before, and now finally, the company has confirmed the official launch date of the Xiaomi 12 series globally. The Xiaomi 12 series will include three smartphones: Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. All three devices pack interesting specifications at a very reasonable price in China. The global variant is also expected to be launched at reasonable pricing with the same specifications or maybe a few tweaks will be done here and there.

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Xiaomi 12 series will launch globally on March 15th, 2022 at 20:00 GMT+8. The company will host an online launch event which will be streamed on the company’s official handle on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Mi community and Mi.com. All three devices are expected to be launched at the same event.
The pricing of these smartphones has already been leaked before, which mentions that the Xiaomi 12X will be priced between EUR 600 and EUR 700 (~ USD 680 and USD 800), the Xiaomi 12 will be priced between EUR 800 and EUR 900 (~ USD 900 and USD 1020). The highest-end smartphone in the series is tipped to be priced between a whopping EUR 1000 and EUR 1200 (~ USD 1130 and USD 1360). Now the official launch will confirm whether the leak is true or not.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary wide, 50MP secondary ultrawide and 50MP telephoto lens. While, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary wide, 13MP secondary ultrawide and 5MP telemacro lens. All the smartphones come with a 32MP front selfie snapper housed in a punch-hole cutout in the display. The Xiaomi 12X is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset while the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
