It appears that the Chinese tech giant is preparing to launch a slew of powerful smartphones in the country. The upcoming Xiaomi 12S Pro was recently spotted on the 3C certification, indicating that the device will be released soon. Another Xiaomi’s upcoming annual flagship, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, has now received 3C certification. However, the website does not reveal any information about the device’s specifications.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra to launch soon; listed on 3C
A new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number 2203121C has been listed on the 3C certification authority of China. The alphabet “C” at the end of the model number represents the device as a Chinese variant. According to the website, the device will feature an MDY-12-EF charger, which supports up t3o 67W fast charging output. The predecessor Mi 11 Ultra had featured a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging and it looks like the company has decided to stick with the same 67W charging technology in the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
However, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which was supposed to sit below the Xiaomi 12 Ultra features a 120W fast wired charging technology, which is obviously faster compared with the 67W charging tech. But nonetheless, the 67W charger is also fast enough as it fully charges the battery for around half an hour.
According to rumours, the device will have a 6.78-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with LTPO 3.0 variable refresh rate technology support for up to 120Hz, HDR 10+, and Dolby Vision. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s recently released Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. In terms of cameras, it is believed to be the first Xiaomi device to include Leica integration in its camera department. The device is expected to have four triple cameras, including a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 48-megapixel periscope zoom, and a 48-megapixel front camera.
