Xiaomi 12X, the Indian counterpart of Redmi Note 11T Pro and POCO X4 GT, was just spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards’ certificates. The device seems to pack quite a punch as we previously reported, so let’s take a look.
Xiaomi 12X spotted on BIS certificates!
Xiaomi 12X will be the Indian variant of China’s Redmi Note 11T+, and the global market’s POCO X4 GT. We previously reported on the POCO X4 GT, and while we’re not sure if the device will be named the Xiaomi 12X, since there are rumours that it will be named Xiaomi 12i instead, we can guarantee that the Xiaomi 12X spotted on the BIS, and it will be coming soon, alongside it’s fellow devices under the “xaga” codename, which includes the aforementioned POCO X4 GT. Here’s a screenshot from the BIS regarding the Xiaomi 12X’s codename.
The Xiaomi 12X will feature the exact same specs as the POCO X4 GT and the Redmi Note 11T Pro, so expect a Mediatek Dimensity 8100, 4980mAh battery, 67W charging, and more. The Xiaomi 12X will also exclusively be released in India, so if you want a device with those specs you should look for one of the devices listed above, since they will have minor changes, if not, none compared to the Xiaomi 12X.
The naming of the device is still up in the air, as we’re not sure if it will be named the Xiaomi 12X or the Xiaomi 12i. However, we will report to you with any further news about the device.
