Xiaomi has finally confirmed the monicker of the Civi device that it will unveil in India: the Xiaomi 14 Civi. According to the brand, it will make the announcement of the device on June 12.
Last week, Xiaomi released a clip on X teasing fans about the first Civi smartphone it is about to release in India. The company didn’t reveal other details about the device in the video, but today’s announcement provided answers to queries about the matter.
According to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Civi phone that it would introduce in India is the Xiaomi 14 Civi. The handheld will be unveiled next month, on June 12, marking the arrival of the Civi series in India.
The company didn’t provide any other details about the smartphone, but it is believed to be the same Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro model launched in March in China. The model had a success in its Chinese debut, with Xiaomi claiming that it sold 200% more units during the first 10 minutes of its flash sale in the said market compared to Civi 3’s total first-day sales record.
If this is the same model India is getting, it means fans should expect the same features the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro offers. To recall, the Civi 4 Pro comes with the following details:
- Its AMOLED display measures 6.55 inches and offers 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 1236 x 2750 resolution, and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

- The Leica-powered main camera system offers up to 4K@24/30/60fps video resolution, while the front can record up to 4K@30fps.
