Xiaomi 15, 15 Ultra officially debut globally

Xiaomi has finally brought the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra models into the global market.

The Chinese giant unveiled the devices at the MWC in Barcelona. The move follows the earlier launch of the devices in China, with the Ultra model entering the domestic market a few days ago. However, as expected, the Xiaomi 15 Pro model remains exclusive to China.

Moreover, it is important to note that there are a few differences between the Chinese and global versions of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra: their batteries. While the Xiaomi 15 in China has a 5400mAh battery, its international counterpart only offers a 5240mAh pack. The Ultra model, on the other hand, has a 5410mAh battery internationally (vs. 6000mAh battery in China).

The two phones’ color options are also more limited compared to their Chinese versions. For the global market, the Xiaomi 15 only comes in four colors, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s Dual-Tone Pine and Cypress Green colorway is exclusive to China. Aside from those, configuration options are also pretty limited.

Ultimately, the vanilla model starts at €1,000, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s base configuration costs €1,500.
