An executive confirmed that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will debut this month. The model is also now available for pre-orders in China.
The news follows an earlier leak about the handheld’s February 26 launch date. While the company still hasn’t confirmed this, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun teased the phone’s arrival this month.
Pre-orders for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra also started this week, although specifics about the phone remain under wraps.
According to earlier leaks, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a huge centered circular camera island on the back. The rear main camera system is reportedly composed of a 50MP 1″ Sony LYT-900 main camera, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto with 4.3x optical zoom.
Other details expected from the Xiaomi 15 Ultra include the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the company’s self-developed Small Surge chip, eSIM support, satellite connectivity, 90W charging support, a 6.73″ 120Hz display, IP68/69 rating, a 16GB/512GB configuration option, three colors (black, white, and silver), and more.
