The Xiaomi 16 Ultra might arrive earlier than expected. According to a new leak, it will be launched this December.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra was unveiled in China in February and then brought to the international stage in March through the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. While earlier reports claimed that the Chinese brand would follow the same timeline pattern, a new tip from China says otherwise.
According to a leak, Xiaomi is actually planning to debut the Xiaomi 16 Ultra with its Network Attached Storage device in December.
The news follows an earlier leak about the high-end model, which is expected to be accompanied by the more premium Xiaomi 16 Ultra Max variant.

According to earlier reports, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, a 6.8″ 2K+ LTPO OLED with 1.2mm bezels, a 16GB/512GB configuration option, a camera system with a SmartSens sensor, a huge battery rated around 7000mAh, HyperOS 3.0, and three colorways (black, white, and silver).
As usual, the model will first be introduced to the Chinese market, and its global debut will follow later. Some markets include India, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Turkey, and parts of Europe.
