Launched alongside the flagship Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro is Xiaomi’s newest flagship TWS earbuds that offers a much better sound experience compared to the previous model in the series. The new headset offers long battery life, better ANC performance than many other flagship earbuds, and clear sound quality.
Xiaomi has long invested in the TWS earphone industry, but mainly launched mid-range products. The brand, which is emphasising flagship headphones from 2020, made a splash with the FlipBuds Pro. Later, the Buds 3T Pro was launched in 2021 and the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro was unveiled in August 2022. Compared to its predecessor, the Buds 3T Pro, the noise-cancelling performance of ANC has been further improved and supports the newer Bluetooth standard.
The new Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, which offer loud sound with 11mm drivers, support SBC, AAC and LHDC 4.0 codecs, as well as Bluetooth 5.3 standard, so you can get the best sound quality compared to ordinary TWS headset. With the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, you can listen to music for 9 hours continuously, while with the charging case, you can listen to music for 38 hours. The main reason for the longer usage time compared to its predecessor is the high energy efficiency of the new Bluetooth technology.
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro has impressive ANC!
As a result of Xiaomi R&D’s great engineering, the Buds 4 Pro have impressive noise cancellation. Thanks to the 3 microphones, it has a noise cancellation of 48 dB. The Buds 3T Pro, Xiaomi’s previous flagship, and the Flipbuds Pro, launched in 2020, only support 40 dB noise cancellation. If you activate ANC on the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, you will hardly hear any outside noise.
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro was launched in China on August 11 and is priced at around $163. This stunning TWS earphone is expected to be sold worldwide, but it is not known when it will be available in global markets.
