Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro to get huge 6000mAh battery inside 7mm body; Other key specs leaked

A new leak has shared some details about a Xiaomi device, which is believed to be the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro.

Xiaomi is expected to launch a Civi phone soon. While the company still hasn’t shared any information about the phone, a post from a reputable leaker, Digital Chat Station, could give us some ideas about what to expect from the phone.

Though the account did not specifically name the phone, it is likely the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro model. According to DCS, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chip, echoing earlier rumors that it is the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC. The post also revealed that the phone will have a 50MP periscope telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom.

The main highlight of the leak, nonetheless, is the thickness of the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro. According to the post, the phone will only measure around 7mm despite having a battery capacity of around 6000mAh, a huge improvement over the earlier rumored 5500mAh battery. This is interesting since its predecessor only measures 7.5mm in thickness while only having a 4700mAh battery.

According to earlier reports, the Civi 5 Pro will also have 90W charging support, a smaller curved 1.5K display, a dual selfie camera, a fiberglass back panel, a circular camera island on the upper left, Leica-engineered cameras, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a price tag of around CN„3000.

Stay tuned for updates!
