India is one of the first markets that will get the first wave of update releases of Xiaomi HyperOS. According to the company, the release will start this Thursday, February 29, at 12 PM.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that it will provide the HyperOS update to its most recent device models, alongside Redmi’s and Poco’s. Last month, the Chinese brand promised to deliver it this month, and on Monday, the company reiterated this by giving more details of the move.

In a separate announcement, the company shared the models getting the update first, which include the Xiaomi 13 Series, 13T Series, 12 Series, 12T Series; Redmi Note 13 Series, Note 12 Pro+ 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 5G; Xiaomi Pad 6, and Pad SE. Nonetheless, the company earlier shared that there will be certain models getting the update first: the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6.
Meanwhile, as expected, the update will come pre-installed in the company’s latest device offerings, including the Xiaomi 14 Series, Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro. The company’s newest smartphone series is expected to arrive on March 7.
