A new leak about the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 reveals the details about its battery, wireless charging, external display, colors, and launch timeline.
Tipster Digital Chat Station shared the news on Weibo, saying that the foldable will be announced in the second quarter of the year. While the post only reiterates several past details about the Mix Flip 2, including its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and IPX8 rating, it also adds new details about the device.
As per DCS, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will be equipped with a battery with a typical rating of either 5050mAh or 5100mAh. To recall, the original Mix Flip only has a 4,780mAh battery and lacks wireless charging support.
Moreover, the account also underscored that the handheld’s external display will have a different shape this time. The post also shares that the crease in the internal foldable display has been improved while “other designs remain basically unchanged.”
Ultimately, DCS suggested that there are new colors for the Mix Flip 2 and that it is designed to attract the female market. To recall, the OG model offers only black, white, purple, and nylon fiber edition options.
