The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will support 67W fast charging according to its certification on China’s 3C.
The original Xiaomi Mix Flip is expected to get its successor this year. After earlier leaks, another certification of the device has confirmed that it is now being prepared for launch.
The flip smartphone was spotted on the 3C platform in China. The handheld bears the 2505APX7BC model number and is confirmed to support 67W charging.
According to earlier reports, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 could arrive in June. The model is reportedly offering some upgrades, including wireless charging and a battery with a typical rating of either 5050mAh or 5100mAh. To recall, the original Mix Flip only has a 4,780mAh battery and lacks wireless charging support. The Mix Flip 2 will also now offer an ultrawide this year, but its telephoto will reportedly be removed.
The phone is also rumored to offer a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip chip and an IPX8 rating. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the handheld’s external display will have a different shape this time. The account also claimed that the crease in the internal foldable display has been improved while “other designs remain basically unchanged.” Ultimately, DCS suggested that there are new colors for the Mix Flip 2 and that it is designed to attract the female market. To recall, the OG model offers only black, white, purple, and nylon fiber edition options.
