Xiaomi is allegedly already preparing the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5, which is expected to arrive with some huge upgrades next year.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 debuted in China in July last year. However, it seems the phone is not getting a successor this year.
According to the tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the Chinese giant will release the book-style foldable in 2026. Despite the long wait, the device is reportedly getting some significant improvements. While the account did not reveal the specifics of the phone, it is said that the Xiaomi foldable will have new capabilities and an aspect ratio.
Moreover, Xiaomi is reportedly testing a Snapdragon chip for the phone. To recall, the Mix Fold 4 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, so we could expect that the next model will also have a powerful Qualcomm chip. Currently, the semiconductor giant’s flagship chip is the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
