Xiaomi Pad 6 series was unveiled in the event on April 18 but it is not yet available for purchase globally. Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is a China exclusive tablet while Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available globally.
Both the vanilla and pro variants will feature new “Deep sleep mode”, which resembles the Hibernation mode available on Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The battery ofXiaomi Pad 6 remain on standby for nearly 50 days with this new mode is activated.
Xiaomi Pad 6 series – Deep sleep mode
Xiaomi Pad 6 has an 8840 mAh battery and a standby time of up to 49.9 days, while Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro with a 8600 mAh battery can have a standby time of up to 47.9 days. This feature works with the help of machine learning and artificial intelligence, tracking which apps the user uses frequently and closing the unnecessary during sleep mode.
Furthermore, it affects the hardware features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well. Once the Deep Sleep mode is activated, the tablet does not only disconnect from other connected devices to the tablet but Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also turned off completely.
We say it’s similar to the Hibernation mode on Xiaomi 13 Ultra, but both modes have different purposes. Hibernation mode on the 13 Ultra is activated when the battery is at 1%, the phone closes all the third party apps and applies a black wallpaper. With a 1% charge, you can have 60 minutes of standby time and make phone calls for about 12 minutes.
