Mi Band 6’s successor Xiaomi Smart Band 7 has finally launched officially in China. The brand was teasing the launch of the product for the last few days and today, it has been debuted finally alongside the Redmi Note 11T series of smartphones. The brand has also launched its Redmi Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro during the launch event. The Xiaomi Band 7 is the only Xiaomi branded product launched in the whole event.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 offers an upgraded 1.62-inch AMOLED display with an oval dial, 326PPI pixel density, further reduced bezels with improved viewing area and Always-on display support. It comes with support for 120+ different watch faces along with some further customizable ones, which one can change according to their preferences. It comes with all the necessary sensors such as a SpO2 monitor, sleep tracker, step counter and a vibration motor for alerts and haptics.
The Band 7 is available in both NFC and non-NFC variants. NFC can be used for a variety of purposes, including wireless sharing and payment. The brand has also added GPS location tracking support to the band. It is powered by a 180mAh battery that supports fast charging. The smart band is compatible with all devices running Android 6.0 or higher and iOS 10. It supports a smart alarm and has a water resistance rating of 5ATM. On the hand, it weighs 13gms. The user has full access to all of its features and can further customise it with the Zepp (formerly Mi FIT) application.

The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 7 costs CNY 299 (USD 44) for the NFC model and CNY 249 (USD 37) for the non-NFC model. Under the early bird offer, it will be available for purchase at CNY 279 (USD 41) and CNY 239 (USD 34) respectively. The gear is available in six different colours: black, white, green, brown, orange, and blue. Users can later replace the strap with a different colour by purchasing additional straps.
