Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S

I bought it 3 years ago and it competes with current phones so far

I bought more than a year ago and there is talk that it will no longer receive updates, that munga ????. Right now it has Android 12 niui 14. I hope and they update it to OXIGEN OS ???? Or did you burn it and throw it in the river? Greetings from Mexico ????????

I'm glad I've used it for over a year

It is a good mobile phone, I can not complain about it, what if I complain is that Xiaome not keep updating it feels this mobile phone a good team, should give at least 7 years of update for being so good mobile, is a machine even better than some new out the year 2022 and 2023, Xiaomi not abandon your good mobile phones like the Redmi note 9s 128Gb and 6 +2 Ram

I bought it in September 2020 while in China. Despite discontinuation of updates it continues perform perfectly. Developer options and hidden features unlocked through the \'MIUI Downloader\' app from the google play store have boosted performance and extended it\'s usability well enough for another year of use without feeling outdated Some features unlocked through the app are: - MEMC for additional frames to make content appear smooth and transitions lively - AI HDR Enhancement to bring out more detail in light and dark areas of videos - AI Image Enhancement which identifies objects as well as adjusting display effects - MIUI Performance Mode to change from \'balanced\' to \'performance\' for faster processing - Extra Dim allowing reduction of brightness to a greater degree than the level available in the notification center which also improves battery life and is useful when viewing your phone in a dark area or before bed at a more comfortable brightness The app showcases even more features along with those mentioned above and along with the developer options, the Note 9S\'s performance has been great The phone is also great for mutli tasking with split screen or floating windows and accessing more options and apps through the side bar, quick ball and accessibility shortcuts Coupled with other nice features that come through MIUI 14 it\'s a great device

Generally I\'m satisfied with this phone

I am very happy with this phone. The only pekka are the updates

Upset that it is on the list of those that will no longer receive updates, security or anything, so whoever is buying it will have a headache in the future. Android 13 no way, and die in version 14 from xiaomi.

I have been using this phone for about 3 years. Still working fine, although the battery performance has deteriorated a bit but I think its fine considering I have been using for avg 10 hours everyday for past 3 years. Its performance and camera is quite good.

May 14th update has not arrived yet

This phone isn\'t bad. Just MIUI updates for low end/mid rangers is the problem. What\'s the use for \"3 years guaranteed updates\" if they are few and far between and no major android updates/security updates are issued on time!

The phone on the whole never gave me any problems in daily use and is quite responsive. Too bad it does not receive android 13, considering that for hardware characteristics it is still an excellent device

I have the Redmi Note 9 with Android 10 MIUI 12... it wants to update to 12.5.3... and it always gives an error sometimes when it reaches 99% I don't understand what happens because it is the automatic update. The truth at the beginning was a super cell phone. But now I see that the performance of the CPU and the gpu has dropped. In games it is no longer fluid. Now it gives me a lot of fps drops

I really loved my phone, which I can use in daily use and mobile development but it has some errors like wife crashing 3-4 time min at day. Nevermind it is cheap and I bought it from Turkey on non legal ways. But this phone is awesome..

I bought this phone ,it seems to have nice hardware but the software is not so good which is why some phones with lower level hardware perform better than this

Xiaomi could update if more faster...

The phone is great, has a great performance on Android 10, but with the next version there is a lack of optimization, every update has same unsolved bugs and the performance In certain games on Android 11 is not the best, but overall a great quality price phone.

Fair enough phone but very bad support from Xiaomi

Traded my iphone 7 in and bought this device. Its an awesome phone everything is super smooth but the only thing that sucks is the updates. They do roll out updates its just that its either late or the update is buggy(which is fixed with another one dont let that tiny fact hinder your purchase) other than that gaming is awesome battery lasts a day or more even under heavy gaming and streaming.
