First, we thought it is an April fool but after looked at the model number, the model number shows it is L2M. The L2 model number belonged to the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The letter M at the end indicates that this device will use a MediaTek SoC? We started to search inside Mi Code.
After doing research on Mi Code, we noticed that a few new codenames were added to Mi Code. Xiaomi device with the codename “damuier” spotted in Mi Code. We found that the device with this codename is the L2M which is Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity 9000 Edition.
When we did a few more inspections, we saw that the L2M device was linked with MediaTek codes.
And when we put all the hints together, the device with model number L2M is codenamed damuierand the SoC it uses is MediaTek. This is the Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity 9000 Edition.
