According to the listing, it is expected to come with 120W fast charging support and 5G connectivity. The same smartphone with Dimensity 9100 Soc was also spotted on the 3C database as well. This confirms our previous report and proves that the Xiaomi 12S Pro will indeed come in two SoC variants.
According to a report, a new Xiaomi smartphone has appeared on China’s 3C certification website with the model number 2207122SC. The smartphone is said to be the Xiaomi 12S Pro Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC variant. In addition, a Power adapter with model number MDY-12-ED has also been spotted. The listing reveals that the smartphone will support 120W fast charging and 5G connectivity. This is all the information that was revealed in the listing.
Last week, a Xiaomi phone with a 2207122MC model number and 67W fast charging was spotted in the 3C database. This smartphone could be the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC variant of the Xiaomi 12S Pro whose existence was discovered by Xiaomiui last month.
Xiaomi is yet to confirm any details about the smartphone. However, previous leaks have suggested that the smartphone could come with a curved edge OLED panel that supports a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could also feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel triple camera unit on the rear. The Xiaomi 12S series phones are also expected to benefit from the recent Xiaomi and Leica partnership and could come equipped with the Leica camera tech.
